Barefoot Shoe OEM & ODM Manufacturing — From 500 Pairs
Build your spec or choose a base model. Full customization, ISO 9001 production, and a named project contact from first sample to bulk shipment.
OEM or ODM? Find Your Path in 30 Seconds.
Both routes give you access to the same ISO 9001 production line and the same 500-pair MOQ—so you can test the market without tying up capital in 1000+ pair initial orders. The difference is just where the design starts.
You bring the design. We manufacture it.
- Brands with an existing tech pack, reference shoe, or concept sketch
- Buyers who need full dimensional control — toe box width, stack height, last geometry
- Labels where IP ownership of the full design is required
Choose our base. Make it yours.
- New brands, crowdfunding founders, or Amazon sellers launching a first SKU
- Buyers who want proven barefoot geometry without new mold tooling cost
- Projects where speed to sample matters more than full structural customization

Four QC Checkpoints. Every Order. No Exceptions.
Inline inspection catches problems before they become bulk problems. You receive a documented QC report before any final payment request.
QC Stage Sequence
Incoming Material
All fabric rolls, rubber sheets, and hardware checked against spec before cutting begins. Non-conforming materials quarantined and replaced.
Inline Production QC
Dimensional checks at cutting, stitching, and lasting stages. Logo placement and color match confirmed against approved sample.
Finishing & Appearance
100% visual check on glue lines, stitching, and outsole bonding. Flex test sample per batch. True 0mm drop geometry is measured and confirmed—eliminating the "fake zero drop" defect that ruins product reviews.
Pre-Shipment AQL 2.5 / 4.0
Random sampling per AQL international standard. Full defect log with photos shared before final payment is requested.
Certifications — Mapped to Your Market
ISO 9001:2015
US & EU RetailQuality management system certification. Your retail buyers and Amazon brand approval teams can request the certificate without delay.
BSCI
EU Social ComplianceBusiness Social Compliance Initiative audit. Required by many European importers and large chain retailers as a condition of sourcing.
Sedex / SMETA
Major Retail ChainsSedex Members Ethical Trade Audit. Covers labor, health and safety, environment, and business ethics. Accepted by most Tier-1 global retailers.
GRS (Available)

Most barefoot factories outsource QC to the agent. At Keytop, inline inspection is performed by our in-house QC team — not the production team. You receive a completed AQL report before we request the balance payment. Third-party inspections (SGS, BV, Intertek) are also welcome and can be arranged at your cost.
Questions Buyers Ask Before Placing an Order
Answers to the 10 questions our sales team receives most often — covering MOQ, samples, certs, timelines, and how to start.
OEM covers the full production chain: spec development, material sourcing, last and mold tooling, sample production, inline QC, pre-shipment AQL inspection, packaging, and export documents. You provide the design; we handle everything from first sample to freight handover.
OEM means you bring the design and we build to your exact spec — including custom last geometry, sole tooling, and upper construction. ODM means you select one of our ready base models and adjust color, material, and branding. ODM is faster and costs less. OEM gives full IP control.
MOQ is 500 pairs per color per style. This applies to both OEM and ODM routes. 500 pairs is among the lowest in the barefoot shoe manufacturing sector — most factories require 1,000 to 3,000 pairs. Lower MOQ means you can test the market without overcommitting inventory.
Standard timeline: sample in 7–14 days, bulk production 30–45 days from sample approval and deposit. Full cycle from first inquiry to goods handover is typically 63–70 days. Rush production compresses the bulk phase to 20–25 days if existing tooling is used.
Yes. A sample fee applies and is credited toward your bulk order on confirmation. Every sample ships with a measurement report confirming zero-drop offset, stack height, and toe box dimensions. One free revision round is included if the sample needs adjustments.
For US and EU retail entry: ISO 9001:2015 satisfies most quality management requirements. EU importers typically require BSCI or Sedex (SMETA) for social compliance. If you're making eco claims on rPET uppers, GRS certification is required to substantiate them. All four are available from Keytop on request.
Four stages: incoming material check, inline production QC at cutting and lasting, finishing inspection on 100% of pairs, and pre-shipment AQL 2.5/4.0 sampling. You receive a photographic QC report before any final payment is requested. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV) can be arranged at your cost.
Three levels. Surface: logo, Pantone color, packaging, hang tags. Material: 20+ upper fabrics, outsole compound, insole type, hardware. Structural (OEM only): custom last geometry, unique stack height, proprietary outsole mold. Most indie brands launch at Tier 1 or 2 and go structural in their second production run.
Yes. Standard terms are FOB Xiamen. We can arrange CIF to your nearest major port on request. FBA-ready carton labeling and barcode placement is available for Amazon sellers. All export documents — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin — are provided on shipment day.
Four steps: (1) Send an inquiry with your target market and rough quantity. (2) We send a quote within 48 hours. (3) Order a sample — 7–14 days delivered to your door. (4) Approve and place bulk order from 500 pairs. Most first-time brands go full cycle in under 90 days.
