From a Custom Minimum to Sample and Bulk Production
Custom Order Minimum
OEM/ODM custom production starts at 500 pairs per color per style. A style with another color has another quantity allocation; the custom minimum applies to each allocation.
Musterentwicklung
Samples take 10–21 calendar days after design confirmation. This window covers sample development, with its starting point tied to the agreed design.
Sample Fee
The sample fee is USD 200 per sample, refundable against the bulk order.
Massenproduktion
Bulk production takes 45–60 calendar days after sample approval and deposit. Approval and deposit start this stage; the sample-development window is separate.
Compare Sole Geometry Across the Collection
Stack height and heel-to-forefoot drop describe different dimensions. The collection has a 0 mm drop; stack heights differ by category.
| Kategorie | Stapelhöhe | Heel-to-forefoot drop | Category details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Barefoot running shoes | 4 mm | 0 mm | Laufen |
| Trail barefoot shoes | 6 mm | 0 mm | Pfad |

Develop the Upper, Sole and Brand Details Together
Keytop offers OEM production from a buyer's design and ODM development from a concept. Materials, colors, branding and packaging form part of the custom project.
Upper and Lining
- The upper material, lining or insole material, closure and size run give the development brief its material and fit inputs. A reference image can show the intended finish; a drawing can specify its dimensions.
Sole and Tooling
- Outsole profile, stack direction and toe-box shape form the construction specification. Once the client has paid the tooling fee, the molds belong to the client.
Color Plan
- The color or Pantone target belongs with the upper, sole, stitching and trim specification. Quantities are allocated by color and style. Color tolerances or approval requirements belong in the project discussion before an order.
Logo and Branding
- Logo artwork and placement define the branding brief: upper, insole and label positions are separate inputs. The file and intended dimensions make the request more specific than a general private-label inquiry.
Verpackung
- Shoe-box artwork, labels and packing rules belong in the product brief alongside the destination market. Retail box presentation and wholesale carton allocation are separate requirements for the inquiry.
Category Details
- A first-order inquiry can include category, size and color allocations, launch date and sample requirements. A repeat-order inquiry can reference the previous design or sample, reorder cadence and any proposed changes. Inspection, material-substitution and report requirements need agreement for that order.
A Collection for Your Sales Channel
Indie-Marken
OEM follows the brand's own design; ODM develops the starting concept. Indie-brand development connects those two approaches to a first barefoot range.
Indie Brands DevelopmentE-commerce and Private Label
Custom shoe branding and packaging carry the private label onto the product and its box. E-commerce and private-label development focuses on that branded online range.
E-commerce and Private Label DevelopmentGroßhandel
A distributor can combine category selection with quantities by color, style and size, and describe its reorder cadence in the inquiry. The custom MOQ applies to each color/style allocation. Wholesale barefoot footwear is the route for that assortment and purchasing discussion.
Wholesale DevelopmentFitness-Studios
The training category gives a studio footwear project its product starting point. Fitness-studio footwear connects that category with the studio's brand design.
Fitness Studios DevelopmentCrowdfunding
Sample development and bulk production follow the separate milestones in the custom order terms. Crowdfunding footwear development connects the product and sample stages with the campaign project.
Crowdfunding DevelopmentSpezialisierte Einzelhändler

Questions About the Barefoot Collection
What is the custom minimum for a style with several colors?
For OEM/ODM custom production, the MOQ is 500 pairs per color per style. A second color has its own 500-pair minimum; a combined order total does not replace that allocation.
Do the categories have the same stack height?
No. Stack heights range from 4 mm for running, kids and training shoes to 8 mm for casual shoes. Trail, boot and sandal values appear in the category comparison above.
Is zero drop the same as having no sole thickness?
No. Zero drop describes the heel-to-forefoot offset. The category drop is 0 mm, while stack height describes thickness underfoot.
Can Keytop develop a design for my brand?
Yes. Keytop offers OEM production from a buyer's design and ODM development from a concept. The customization discussion covers product design, materials, color, branding and packaging.
When does sample development start?
Samples take 10–21 calendar days after design confirmation. Bulk production takes 45–60 calendar days after sample approval and deposit.
What belongs in the first collection inquiry?
The category or reference design, quantity by color and style, size range and target market define the project. A design brief or artwork and the material requirements can accompany the inquiry.
How soon will Keytop reply?
The first inquiry reply is within 24 hours. A response is distinct from a quotation; Keytop sends a quotation within 48 hours.
